Welcome to Amelia (“App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Amelia mobile application and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using Amelia, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately.
You must be 18 years of age or older to use Amelia. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
Amelia is an AI-powered chat application that allows users to interact with virtual characters for entertainment and companionship purposes. The App may include:
AI-generated conversations and roleplay interactions.
In-app purchases and subscription-based premium features.
Access to user-created or AI-generated content.
All AI responses are generated automatically and are fictional. They do not reflect real events, people, or facts.
You agree to use Amelia only for lawful and appropriate purposes. You must not:
Create, upload, or share illegal, obscene, sexually explicit, violent, or hateful content.
Engage in or promote harassment, abuse, discrimination, or exploitation.
Attempt to create, share, or depict minors in sexual or suggestive situations.
Use the App to violate laws or the rights of others.
Attempt to interfere with or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.
Amelia maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the following:
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving minors in sexual contexts.
Attempts to generate or request illegal, explicit, or abusive AI content.
Misrepresentation of Amelia’s AI characters as real people.
Violations may result in account termination and, where required, reporting to law enforcement.
You understand and agree that:
AI-generated content is produced automatically based on user input and algorithmic processing.
Amelia does not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or reliability of AI responses.
Any conversation or scenario created within the App is fictional and intended solely for entertainment.
You agree to use discretion when engaging with AI-generated content and acknowledge that such content may not reflect real-world behavior or facts.
Amelia may include optional in-app purchases or subscriptions that grant access to premium features.
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store, subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You may manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.
Refunds are handled according to Apple’s policies; Amelia does not process refunds directly.
Your use of Amelia is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the App, you agree to the Privacy Policy and consent to data processing as described therein.
All rights, titles, and interests in Amelia—including but not limited to software, AI models, characters, artwork, and other content—are owned by us or our licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the App at any time without notice if you:
Violate these Terms;
Engage in illegal or inappropriate activity; or
Cause harm to other users or the App’s operation.
Upon termination, you must cease using the App, and your license will be automatically revoked.
The App and all related content are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee:
Continuous or error-free operation of the App;
That AI-generated responses will be accurate, appropriate, or reliable;
That the App will meet all user expectations.
You use Amelia at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amelia and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
Your use or inability to use the App;
Any AI-generated content;
Loss of data or unauthorized access.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for using the App in the preceding 12 months.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amelia, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the App or these Terms at any time.
If material changes are made, we will notify users by updating this document within the App.
Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your country or region of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
